Hltb divine divinity1/22/2024 The story itself is decent and has some pretty humorous aspects at times, but this game is really more about the gameplay. It does use the spacebar to pause the game though, which is a most welcome addition. Other places said it was like Baldur's Gate, but I don't see that at all. Even today you can still jump right in and have a good time. For starters, I feel that it actually has aged well for the most part. Overall, you should try it, though you probably won't finish it.ĥ7h 37m PlayedLooking at comments leading up to this game, I was wondering how good this game would be. It definitely benefited from the light-hearted tone of its writing, the game mostly doesn't take itself too seriously and it helps to break the tension every now and then. The final half of the game just drops all semblance of any CRPG left in it and became a full-on Diablo style dungeon romp, which is fine, but it's incredibly dragged on for too long with too little variation in this game. Balance issues are prevalent, the game seems to be catering toward sword builds the most, and the spells range from being utter useless to God tier with no in-between, "Polymorph" for example, even at level one is VERY broken and can hilariously transform the final bosses to harmless rabbits making it outrageously easy to finish the final level. 70h 18m PlayedBeing Larian's first attempt at an RPG this game has quite a few flaws, some bugs and glitches here and there, but you'll most likely won't find anything game breaking save for a few graphical glitches.
